The beginning of Cinema

When talking about the birth of cinema, everything began on the date of December 28, 1895, when the first films made by the brothers Auguste and Louis Lumière revolutionized the industry and the art of the image with their inventions such as the instant photo, then they invented the film projector, until December 28, 1895, when they managed to project the first silent film performance.

They were the ones who made and screened the first film in 1895. They filmed it in Paris on March 19 and called it “La sortie des ouvriers des power plants Lumière à Lyon.”

What where early films like?

Early films were really brief, often just a few minutes. They'd show up at places like fairgrounds or music halls wherever they could set up a screen and make the room dark. The movies covered local scenes, exterior places, funny shorts, and important news.

They came with talks, music, and got the audience involved. Even though they didn't have talking that matched the scenes, they weren't totally silent like people might think.
